Hi Bob

Just felt compelled to give you an update in the Norinco 1911 9mm I purchase from you maybe about 12 months ago. The guys at the WA club I belonged to nearly lynched me for doing it. If it wasn’t a Tanfoglio, Para, STI, S&W or similar it was made by the hand of the devil and should be banished to the wilderness.

OK here goes, Sprinco full length guide rod, new sear & disconector, better hammer & trigger, LPA rear sight as suggested by yourself, better leaf & main spring and an 18lb recoil spring suggested by someone who lives for 1911's.

I thought the main spring would be overkill, but it's perfect, lobbing the spent cases close by. Now the interesting thing is there are a few punters at my club that have STI's, Colt's & Parra's that from time to time shoot centerfire, this cheap Chinese knock off even in my hands I'm sure makes them think this guy with the Norinco is either a smart ass or I have paid way too much for this pistol..

Even in my hands 8 out of 10 are in the black, This little jem is a keeper, it's taken a some time but now it really rocks. There is also the added benefit of walking down the range and thinking, "poor bastards" fancy paying that amount of money for such a crap score.......that's right blame it on the temperature or maybe it's the humidity that's not quite right!, no no no I've worked it out, that's it! "the moon is in the wrong phase"....bloody cheap Chinese piece of %$###
